Bright Beginnings Panmure
Our Beautiful childcare centre in Panmure for children aged 0-5 years located at 8 Kings Road, Panmure, Auckland.
We are currently offering 2 months free childcare on all new enrolments
The centre is licensed for 70 children, with a license for 15 children under two years of age and 55 children over 2 years of age . The children at the centre have the opportunity to spend time in the Manuka Room ( 0-2 years), Kowhai Room ( 2 – 3 and half years) and Pohutakawa Room ( 3 and half to 5 years).
The teaching team is strongly inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Our centre environment is very unique and acts as the third teacher for the child. The educators encourage open ended learning through provocations they provide within the centre environment. The identity of the capable and competent learner is visible throughout the centre. Strong relationships with children and their whanau are fostered and we actively work towards engaging with the community.
Projects are explored as vehicles of learning. These projects originate from children’s conversations, ongoing interests and open ended provocations. We welcome you into our new learning space !!! Feel free to call and speak with our friendly team at our Panmure Childcare Centre now to book a visit.
What’s happening now:
Our current Group Project “(kaitangatika/guardianship) Environment” has taken a leap into a new phase and we wish to further promote the feeling of pride and knowledge in our tamariki about their imaginations and understanding of the concept of 3 ‘R’s reducing, reusing, and recycling. Our Whānau have been actively participated in the mini challenges organised by our kaiako during and after lockdown through exchanging photos of children exploring and creating their little masterpieces out of Recycled materials sharing it through Story Park.
These are being acknowledged by rewarding a special certificate that they can share with their friends and teachers during the ‘Meeting Time’ with immense pride and aroha. To really inculcate recycling into tamariki, all our kaiako have been engaging children in various learning experiences using recycling materials and helping them to understand why we recycle and its value in sustainability.
This learning experience has inspired our tamariki to show aroha to the environment around us. Our little tamariki are getting ready to make the world around them a more beautiful place to be in by taking care of the (kaitangatika/guardianship) Environment.
